Between 1 July to 31 July, a national surrender and compensation scheme is in place where you can dispose of ninja swords at specific police stations, with no consequence for the possessing of the surrendered article.

From 1 August it will be illegal to possess, manufacture, sell or transport these weapons.

Please make sure to wrap your weapon in newspaper, bubble wrap, or cloth, then place it in a sturdy bag or box that’s completely sealed. Go directly to the surrender location without making stops.
