The Finance Committee usually meets in October or November to discuss the budget for the forthcoming financial year. It looks in detail at the expected costs and aims to raise enough money through the Council Tax to cover expenditure whilst also giving good value for money to the residents. There are three Councillors on the Finance Committee who are advised by the Clerk as Responsible Financial Officer.
