Grow Selsey Seed & Plant Swap

Are you a keen gardener or just getting started? Grow Selsey Seed & Plant Swap is a great opportunity to share, learn, and pick up something new for your garden.

Bring along your spare seeds, seedlings, or plants to swap, or just come for a chat and some gardening inspiration.  We also have lots of pots, trays, and tools, and our homemade preserves produced from fruit collected during the Abundance Fruit Project.

Grow Selsey is a project which involves local people in a variety of sustainable gardening projects in and around the Selsey area.  We run The Hidden Garden, a community garden, designed to help and inspire people to become involved with growing fruit, vegetables, herbs and flowers along with providing spaces for wildlife to thrive.  Looked after by a dedicated team of volunteers we work with local schools, adults with learning needs and host Forest School projects.  We also offer the local community a kitchen waste recycling scheme using our Ridan Food Waste composter to create material to feed our community garden.
