SUMMARY:Selsey Open Gardens
DESCRIPTION:£5.00 per person\, accompanied under 16s free. \n\nSelsey Open Gardens is back for 2025. Residents of Selsey are opening their gardens once again\, with more than 25 gardens available to explore\, including several new gardens taking part for the first time. There will be something of interest for everyone. Gardens of all shapes and sizes with innovative features\, spaces for nature\, and lots of exciting ideas to inspire your own creations. \nWhy not start at the community garden\, The Hidden Garden\, where you can park and begin your tour aided by our new transport options (see below). \nDuring the day a variety of live entertainment including The Selsey Molls\, Cloud 9 Musical Theatre\, Selsey Naked Ukeleles\, and Dave’s Music will be performed. Homemade cakes\, teas and plant sales will be available\, along with handmade items by the Men in Sheds. \nProceeds\nProceeds raised go to Selsey Community First Responders\, Selsey Care Shop and other charities. \nHow to get tickets / programmes\nIn advance (from 3rd May onwards) from Village Flowers\, Flowers by Sue Bellamy and Country Gardens in the High Street\, and from T&T Fruits\, Orchard Parade\, Selsey.\nOn the day programmes will be available from outside Highhouse Insurance\, 101 High Street\, Selsey and from The Hidden Garden\, behind the Library in School Lane. \nNew for 2025\nElectric Bikes\nIf you want to hire an E-bike for the day\, please contact Steve Mitchell at www.ebike-centre.co.uk\nor 01243 697547 by Easter Monday 21st April to book in advance. \nHop-on Hop-off Bus\nThe Selsey Shuttle Bus will be running a continuous loop of Selsey taking in most of the gardens with a number of pick-up/drop off points.
