Fishbourne Literary Festival presents the Fishbourne Garden Literary Festival, taking place on Saturday, August 9th, 2025, at Fishbourne Church and Church Hall. Alongside engaging author talks on horticultural literature, the event will feature a vibrant marketplace with stall holders displaying a variety of garden related products including plants, crafts, books and gifts.
There is something for everyone:
- Lovers of literature and those interested in gardening and gardening history will want to buy a ticket for the talks in the church to hear four speakers with varied backgrounds talk on a variety of gardening topics. Tickets only £25 for the whole day!
- Gardeners and plant lovers will enjoy the browsing (for no charge) the stalls and displays in the beautiful setting of Fishbourne Church Hall, overlooking Fishbourne meadows
- Walkers and anyone else wanting a relaxing day out can benefit from the home made refreshments, including rolls, cakes and creams teas (or even a glass of summer punch!) whilst enjoying the views over the meadows, and a distant glimpse of the harbour
