Parish Council

Introduction

The Parish Council is involved with providing input into planning, environmental, transport and other issues which directly affect the village. In April 2007 Fishbourne Parish Council was awarded the coveted Quality Parish Council award.


Logo for Quality Parish Council     To be recognised as quality the parish council had to pass tests to show it went above and beyond the service offered by a standard parish council.

It is anticipated that several of our current councillors will not stand for re-election at the next election in May 2011.

Fishbourne parish council is recognised as one of the more active councils in the area but needs fresh ideas and enthusiasm to ensure Fishbourne continues to be a vibrant village.
